Class 5 - Our living Earth
Over the next few days we will be celebrating Earth day!
In honour of this, today class 5 talked about how our Earth is full of all different kinds of living things, from animals, to plants, to people....even germs!
We talked about what it means to be 'living' and we came to the conclusion that all living things GROW in some way.
We have been observing the tree outside our classroom window slowly bursting into blossom, and we thought that the blossoms on a tree are a perfect way to represent 'growth.'
So we all sat down and got scrunching with some little squares of tissue paper to create tiny little buds to stick on our bare-looking trees.
Now our trees look like they are growing again!
We think our blossoming trees look lovely, and we hope you like them too :)
Happy Earth Day!
