Class 3 experiment
Class 3 did a different kind of marble painting today. We decided to see what would happen if we marble painted over two layers. We put our big paper down in the tray and placed a smaller flower shape on top. To make the papers stick together we used the spray bottle to spray water on our papers. Then we chose some bright spring colours and we tilted our trays to make the marbles roll around in the paint. We observed our paint soak into the wet paper and watched the tracks our marbles made. (Elect 4.4, 4.5) When our papers were full we picked up our flower shapes and looked under. We were left with two paintings! The bottom paper soaked up some of the paint from the smaller paper on top. We made some beautiful spring art, look for it hanging up around the school!
