Class 1 - Spring sensory jars
Today we worked on our Sparkly Spring Jar! We were very excited to work on this as we will use our tiny fingers to carefully put in our sparkles and other materials.
The first thing that we did was talk about Spring. We shared what we know about it. Some of our friends said Spring brings new leaves and other friends said they did some spring cleaning at home. We also learned that Spring means new hope and refreshment.
Second we took out all the materials we needed for our sparkly spring jar. We took out two water bottles, sparkles, cotton, food colouring and anything sparkly. We all had a turn putting each material into our bottle. Then we chose 2 colours for our bottle. We chose green which represented spring and purple just because we think it's fancy.
Finally, we glued the lid to make sure the water and materials won't come out. We all took turns looking and playing with our sparkly spring jar. Happy Spring!
