Class 3 puppet show

Ms. Lauren left a surprise for us in the 2nd floor class room! She arranged a puppet centre for us! We decided it would be fun to draw our own puppets, so we went to work in the art room. We talked about what a puppet is, what kinds of animals or people our puppets could be, and how to draw them with a body and a head (Elect: 5.3 fine motor drawing). When we finished we took turns performing a puppet show. We used our puppets to tell our friends a story (Elect: 3.4 conversing with peers and adults, 3.9 retelling stories). Taking turns and listening to others helps us practice pro social behaviour. Telling our friends stories is a fun way to practice our communication skills. Good job class 3!
