Excitement is around the corner! Class 5 talked about what we are going to be for Halloween. Some friends shared that they're going to be Rainbows, Spider-Man, Dinosaurs and other characters from the movie, Frozen. We put our circle discussion into literacy work as we wrote who we want to be for Halloween and a phrase from the board.
Elect: 1.3 peer group entry skills, 1.5 interacting positively and respectfully, 1.6 cooperating, 3.4 conversing with peers and adults, 3.5 using descriptive language to explain, explore and extend, 3.6 listening to others, 3.7 enjoying literacy, 3.8 using and understanding power of literacy, 3.13 matching spoken words with written ones, 3.14 beginning to write letters of the alphabet and some high frequency words, 4.6 collecting and organizing information, 5.3 fine motor skills
