Class 1 had the opportunity to explore the concept of symmetry using paint.
First, we put smocks on and folded our papers in half. Next, we decided to paint one half of the paper. We used pink, green, purple and skyblue. After painting one side of the paper, we folded our papers, so they resembled what a closed card would look like. When we opened them up, we discovered something very cool! The paint that we had painted on one side of the paper, had now transferred to both sides of the paper; just like magic. Learning new things is so much fun, especially when he can combine that with getting a little messy! Great works of art, friends :)
