Class 4 - Fall and Halloween Literacy

In Class 4, we are always working on enhancing our writing skills. This entails a firm tripod grasp, as well as the steadiness of our hand when writing. Today, we did some tracing as well as free hand writing. By tracing the letters it allows us to enhance our hand steadiness when writing sentences or words. When we trace we follow the dots in order to write the appropriate letter. With our free hand writing we learn to hold the writing utencil appropriately as well as comfortably. It also allows us to enhance our letter recognition and apply our knowledge to a piece of paper. Today we wrote Halloween and Fall words!
