During outdoor play we collected our own fall leaves. It all began when we noticed the many leaves on the floor. Everyone put their teamwork skills to work as we walked around the playground and collected as many leaves as we could together. Collaboration had taken place as the children shared their leaves with each other and noticed the differences. We had so much fun recognizing the different colours, sizes, shapes and textures. Class five decided to put our collection in a bucket to bring inside. We are planning to take a closer look at the leaves in the classroom as class five wishes to observe the leaves with magnifiers!
