French Shapes

This week during our French circles, our newest topic we explored was learning all about our shapes in French! LES FORMES! Here are the fun shapes we learned about during our circle time:

Triangle - Triangle
Square- Carré
Rectangle - Rectangle
Circle - Cercle
Oval- Ovale
Star - Etoile
Diamond - Diamant/ losange

We also focused on the fact that we are all surrounded left, right and center (as well as behind us) by these shapes that we learned about! We even noticed that some windows are in a shape of a square (Carré) or a rectangle (Rectangle) while a ball is in a shape of a circle (Cercle)! It's so cool to learn all about shapes in two different languages! Happy learning, my LFLF friends!
