Class 3- Understanding Touch

This week, Class 3 is continuing to learn lots of interesting things about our senses and today we were exploring different objects and how they all feel different to our sense of touch. We learned how some objects feel soft vs hard, smooth vs rough or bumpy, etc. We then decided to do an activity where we stuck different materials on a bunch of hand silhouettes that were hard - gems , soft - feathers. and rough - burlap. We also practiced writing the words of these wonderful feeling objects. It was a fun social art time exploring and learning about new things with each other, and we all did a touchy-feely great job!
