Class 2- Emotion Puppets

This week in Class 2, we made our very own emotion Puppet that looked like ourselves that describes what it is feeling. We started by organizing construction paper that was cut out in all sorts of different shapes that symbolize how we feel. Prior to creating our puppets, each friend was asked what they were feeling at that moment such as happy, excited, sad, or angry. All of our friends said they felt happy! Yay!! That's when we started gluing on our happy facial features: a smiling mouth! Then we designed our Puppet to look like us as much as possible; by gluing on our hair. Overall, this was a great activity that allowed us to focus on what emotions are and how we use them to express ourselves. We hope you can recognize which puppet belongs to whom when you see them!
