Class 5: Learning about our senses

This morning we started to learn about our new unit of work for the month: our senses! We learnt how to list all five senses in our literacy class and then for art we focused on how our eyes work. Ms Lauren gave us some small googly eyes and we chose how many we wanted to glue onto our page for our sentence. We then wrote a sentence and used Ms Lauren's magical marker to write the number of eyes we had.

Then we did an experiment with cutting and we tried to change our eyes for when we did our cutting - we closed one eye then the other and even tried to cut with our eyes closed! We learnt that we couldn't even find the scissors on the table without our sight!
