Class 4- Making shakers

Today we began the process of making our very own musical instruments! Before we started to paint the outside of what will become our shakers, we tried tapping all over the cup. We discovered that the different sides, rims and surfaces all make a slightly different sound! This led us to another idea- after we finish our shakers, we could make drums! As we painted the outside of our shakers we tried to think of as many loud sounds as we could; things like fire trucks, trains, airplanes and ambulances, drums, trumpets, electric guitars- even elephants and lions! We think our shakers will make loud noises too- we can't wait to test them out :)
