Today we all sat down together to talk about poppies. We had a closer look and talked about all the people we know who have been wearing a poppy for the last little while. We talked about how people wear poppies as a special way to remember and thank the brave men and women who work hard to keep us safe. We had a think about what we would need to make some poppies to wear tomorrow for remembrance day. We needed some red card for the petals and something black for the middle. A-ha! What if we chop the black, fuzzy pipecleaners up? Perfect!
We will be very proud to wear our very own poppy pins tomorrow in remembrance.
