Class 4- Exploring fall with our senses

Today we had a big sensory exploration in our playground,  with a focus on all the 'fall things'. Our sense of touch helped us feel the chilly air on our skin, so we put on our jackets that feel soft and warm. Our sense of sight allowed us to see that there were leaves EVERYWHERE in our playground! We smelled their damp, earthy scent as we swept and collected them all, and listened for the crunching and rustling sounds they make as we push them along. Then we revelled in sensation of throwing them up into the air and having them float and flutter back down over us!
