This morning the friends in class 4 showed off their play entry skills! Two friends were building a train track when another friend approached and said 'Can I help too?' So the three friends worked together on the big track.
Soon, another classmate arrived at school, so the train track crew asked them 'Do you want to play with us?'
Soon enough we had a fantastic group of friends working together to build a big track- we love team work! When we practice our play entry skills we develop our relationships with peers and teachers, and strengthen our sense of belonging in the school community. These skills help us to navigate social environments, both familiar and new, confidently and with as little frustration as possible. It's also great manners!
