Today we used our outdoor chairs, a big plant pot and our imaginations to create a camp fire! First we counted how many friends were there so we could put out enough chairs, then we had to look around for lots of red leaves to make our fire. We all roasted hot dogs and made some s'mores over the nice, toasty flames. One friend even thought to grab the guitar for a fireside sing along! Role playing familiar situations and activities allows us to explore the conventions of conversation and interaction. It gives us a chance to take a closer look at how and why we do things the way we do, and it's so much fun!
