Class 4 & 5 - Bird Nest

This week one friend brought in something special for Show & Tell!

He found 2 empty bugs shells, and an empty bird's best! We all examined the bug skin and saw how many legs it had!

We also examined the bird's best closely and noticed all the grass and tiny twigs! We talked about where the eggs could have gone and the children thought maye they hatched and went looking for food!

Afterwards, we put the nest in front of us and tried our best to do an observational drawing. Then we imagined the eggs and drew them too!
