Class 3- 'Green' ants

Today we discussed what kinds of bugs sometimes come into buildings if we leave crumbs all over the place - ants! We also talked about recycling, and cut up some old egg cartons to make cute little ants, and we decided green, black and brown are good ant colours. While we worked we decided that we should also look at some books to find out what things we'll need to finish our ants off; like how many legs and eyes we'll need, and what other kinds of body parts they might have. We can't wait to finish them and stick them up around the school!
