Happy Birthday to a very special person at LFLF!!

Everyone at LFLF wants to wish a very wonderful birthday to Ms. Luna & Prachiti ! They are kind, caring, empathetic individuals who is beautiful inside and out, they are such a wonderful and important part of our school, and all of their big and little friends at LFLF want to thank them for everything they do for us each and every day behind the scenes! With lots of birthday hugs of love and warm wishes for their future, we hope that they have a wonderful day!

Class 2- Spring Chicks

Today Class 2 designed some sweet little chicks using soft spring colours! This art experience was simple yet full of Spring as we brought our chicks to life by creating patterns. We did this by using fine brushes as we made dots, and squiggly lines across our chicks! Our favourite part about this art activity is that we were able to use different colours to create and design! All of our chicks look uniquely beautiful!

Class 3- Flower Pots

This morning during our art time, we made flower pots by using Styrofoam cups!
First we used acrylic paint for the background colour while adding Spring colours such as pink, blue and purple! Then we decorated our flower pots with sparkly glitter glue! Once it all dries up we plan to glue some decorative flowers and ta-daaaa!!!! Special flower pots for spring!

Class 5- Earth Day Bags

Class 5 learnt about Earth Day and the importance of the planet. They learnt about how the Earth is divided into land and water and the different continents and places around. We also discussed about things we need to do to save our planet. We then decided to make some paper bags and we spoke about how we should stop the use of plastic bags. Each one did a wonderful job at painting the bags in Earth colours. We also tried to make a pattern of land, water, continents on it. The children said it looks so pretty Ms.Prachiti.

Class 1- Literacy Books

Our LFLF Class 1  friends spent their time working on their literacy workbooks this morning. They were all very exited to choose their own crayons and discover that new pages were added into their books. Great job, learning how to properly hold a crayon friends

Class 2- Marble Painting

Today Class 1 and 2 used shades of blue and green for Earth Day coming up! We did this through marble painting! This art experience gave us the opportunity of using colours they represent our earth in art form. Furthermore, it was open ended as we were able to use our creative side to design our earthy backgrounds! Everyone's work looks unique and beautiful in its own way! This was great as we each got to express our own representation of the earth. Wonder work friends! We can't wait to share our earthy marble painting with you around the school!
