Class 1/2 Summer Hanging Art Project

This week we made a beach scenery! We started our summer scenery by water painting our background blue. We then used paper towel to represent the sand and glued it at the bottom of our paper. To make a crab, we used our hands to imprint the crabs body using red paint! Class 1/2 friends chose to add features to their beach like a sun umbrella and a beach towel! We also used dark blue to make the sea! For our sun, we used sparkly thread and glitter by gluing it onto a round white paper. Overall, we really enjoyed this art project as we got to explore different sensory materials to create a beautiful beach scenery for summer!
