Father's Day is fast approaching so class one decided to make a special Father's Day card. First, we cut a necktie shape out of different construction papers. Second we got some cut up tissue papers and squished them for the design. Third, we put glue on our necktie and glued the squished tissue paper. Fourth, we put additional sparkles to make the necktie pretty. Finally, we hung up our necktie to dry so we can write a letter at the back tomorrow. While doing our artwork, we talked about how we love our daddies and we are happy we have him. Some friends shared that their daddies pick up and drop them off school. Other friends shared nice things as well such as going to baseball games and writing emails with their daddies. We had so much fun with our activity as we were able to enhance our creativity, fine motor and conversation skills. We can't wait for Father's Day to come!
