Class 1: Chalkboard drawing

Today in class one we are working on our symbolic drawing. We talked about how we can form circles and lines and how they can symbolize our favourite things in the world. We all had a turn to volunteer and present in class our favourite things. We used our chalk and chalkboard to present it.Some of them are trains, our Mommies, Dora and teacups. When we were done presenting, we all got our construction papers which served as our own chalkboard and some coloured chalks. We drew some lines, circles and scribbles. We were describing our picture to our friends as we drew it.

Symbolic drawing helps us enhance our imaginative skills as well as realizing the attributes that are important to us. It may be an everyday thing or subject that we encounter or the ones that we aspire. We had fun sharing our symbolic drawing as we also developed our conversation skills.
