Class 1: Imaginative skills

Class one worked on our senses and imaginative skills today. With the help of clay, we shaped some objects. Some of us used tools with shapes of stars, castle, flowers, letters and animals. While forming the shape, we described how we can feel the clay as soft and squishy. After forming the shape, we shared with our friends what we formed and started telling stories about it. We shared how in a land far away, there were stars, a castle and flowers surrounding it.

We had a fun time today as our activity helped us explore our senses and use our imagination to shape objects and tell stories.

Elect 1.3 peer group entry skills, 1.5 interacting positively and respectfully, 1.6 cooperating, 2.6 positive attitudes toward learning, 3.1 using verbal and nonverbal communication,4.3 representation, 4.17 understanding 2d and 3d shapes, 5.3 fine motor skills
