Class 2- Sneak Peek

Over the past couple of weeks, Class 2 has been working extremely hard to learn the dance steps to our upcoming August concert that we will record for all our parents to see. Not only are we learning groovy moves to dance styles like Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop, but we are also developing a sense of rhythm by moving to the various beats! Furthermore, we are working our large muscles in our bodies while having tons of fun all at the same time! We hope you love our groovy pictures!

Class 3- Reptile Exploration

Class 3 was extremely curious to build up their knowledge about different reptiles.We learned things about them like their characteristics, habitats, what they like to eat, and even did a worksheet about them too. But the best part of our little Science lesson that the little explorers enjoyed the most was when they got to play with the snakes and other reptiles. It was a fun time learning together about other animal groups for Class 3.

Disco Dino Dance Party

What a wonderful way to end Dinosaur month with an interactive Dino Disco Party! The Thursday friends of LFLF danced their ballet shoes off with silly Dino hats and their special Dino stuffies that were brought in. What an eventful month we've had learning and exploring Dinosaurs and volcanoes. All the children were happy, silly, and over the moon excited to disco fever and shake it off with their Dino friends. Can't wait to see what tomorrow has in store for us for Part 2 of our Dino Disco Party!

Part 2 - Dino Fossils

With Dinosaur month coming to an end, all the friends who didn't have a chance to finish digging for their dinosaur fossils had the opportunity to do so this morning. They used fossil brushes to search, dig and collect their fossils, and then finished gluing them onto their fossil papers to see what they have collected. What a wonderful way to finish off the week. Awesome digging, my friends!

Class 5- Dino fun

Before we had our Dino Disco Party, we had a chance to play with our 3-D Dino project. We discussed how we put our 3-D art together and we also recalled the materials that we used to create our dinosaurs. We then all named our dinosaurs with some pretty interesting names. Some of us named our dinosaurs after our cousins and some of us created unique names! We had so much fun playing with our 3-D art and we are so excited to take them home finally. We cannot wait to play with them at home with our loved ones!

Class 1- Dancing the Day Away

We had an amazing dance class in the morning. The children in Class 1 had lots of fun with a special guest dance teacher visiting us this week. The children learned lots of new and cool moves from our guest dance teacher, such as 'fly like a bird' where they raise up their arms as high as they can. Dance is a awesome class to incorporate into daily activities as children can improve their physical skills in a very fun way.
