Class 1 - Alien Art

Class 1 had an amazing art time today! Since the theme of this month is space exploration, our little friends had a chance to make UFO's and Alien friends. First, we painted the spaceship with blue paint and then we painted our Aliens green.  We added our unique details to make our projects our own individual creations and then sealed everything together with some handy-dandy glue.  Great job Class 1!

Class 3 - Dance Class Volunteer

During our dance class we did collaborative work today.  A friend volunteered to be our dance teacher. She helped us warm up, recall our dance for the concert and lead the games. This is such a fun time for Class 3 as volunteerism, leadership and collaborative skills are practiced.

Class 5 - Concert Preparation

Over the past two weeks Class 5 have been putting together a very special surprise for the up coming concert! Here is a sneak peek of what we are working on, but shhh...I won't say anything more as it will spoil the surprise! We can't wait to finally share it with you on concert day!!

Class 2 - UFO's

To finish off the space theme Class 2 went off with a bam by creating space creatures, or UFOs. We know that they may not be real but Class 2 loved the idea of exploring fun fantasy creatures out in the universal! Great creativity friends.

Class 3 - Space Creatures

As the last week of May approaches, we made a final art project for our monthly theme. We made some space creatures made of tissue paper rolls, sparkles, googley eyes, jewels and some scrap paper. Some of the space creatures we made have four eyes, some have three, some have built in red jewels and crazy hair too! Now to give them some funny names!

Class 2 - Explore

After a couple weeks of discussing the Earth, the Moon and the Stars, the kids of Class 2 explored other planets such as Jupiter and Saturn! They were amazed to know that there is more beyond what they see in the world.  Class 2 observed that Saturn is truly unique because of the ring that surrounds the planet! How cool is that? Way to explore Class 2!
