Class 3 - Fall Word Bank

Putting our writing utensils to good use, Class 3 was writing up a storm this week. As classmates, we brainstormed some Fall words and practised using our tripod grasps! Watch out! mom's and dad's, we're going to be writing circles around you in the near future!

Class 4 - Fall Discussion/Creative Arts

Class 4 is always super excited to talk about Fall and the different things we see during our Fall season. During circle time we discussed what we like about Fall and what we don't like about Fall. We talked about what makes us happy during fall such as the different color leaves and finding leaves from the trees on the ground. Today, we had the opportunity to collage using different colour leaves as well as some spooky Halloween and pumpkin stickers. We learned that Halloween is during the Fall season so we should incorporate the two. Enhancing our fine motor skills using glue and peeling stickers from the sticker paper. Fall and Halloween is a very exciting time for us and we cannot wait for us to explore more about Fall!

Class 2 - Friendship Skills

Since the theme this week is all about friendship, Class 2 wanted to show off their friendship skills. The friends of Class 2 always enjoy playing together, but they wanted to take the time out to hang out and explore friendship further with each other.

Class 5 - Language

Class 5 has been eager to discuss about our new season Autumn starting. We talked about some of the activities we like to do in the fall such as jumping in the leaves, going to the pumpkin patch, and preparing for Halloween! We all expressed our favourites in our drawings and decided to write about it as well!

Class 2 - Refining Fine Motor

Class 2 is putting our fine motor skills to the test by exploring with Lego.  The friends in Class 2 loved building and manipulating the Lego pieces into castles, free standing structures and airplanes for other toys to play along with.

Class 3 - Hanging Art

Class 3 is almost done with our hanging Fall art. We added more details to our art by putting modge podge to make it shiny, 3D foam stickers and glitters. We talked about how the 3D foam stickers reflected about our upcoming events. It's Halloween and Fall. We shared what we know about these events and how we are excited to celebrate them with our hanging art.
