Class 5 seed planting

This week we began a special project.
We planted some seeds that we are hoping will grow into a special present for a special person! Shhhh....
We put the soil in our pots, added the seeds and then added water. We can't wait to observe them and see what happens!

Class 3- planting seeds

Today we got in the green-thumb spirit and planted lots of seeds! Outside we filled a big pot with soil and scattered some seeds to grow some lovely green grass. When we came inside we went upstairs to plant seeds for beautiful flowers but shhh don't tell mum, they're a surprise!

Class 5th Earth week recycle collage

This week we have been learning about Earth week. We decided to try making a collage out of old materials so we could recycle! We cut out letters from an old newspaper and then glued them to our collage. Reduce, reuse and recycle!

Class 5 French

Today in French class we learned why it is so important to preserve the planet in french! We learned a couple of words in french related to earth day such as earth (la terre) recycle (recyclage) save the planet (sauver la planete)! 

Class 1 - Puzzle Fun!

Ms. Meghan's class has been practicing their problem solving skills this week with board puzzles. It can be tricky to find the right shaped space for our puzzle pieces! Sometimes we helped each other find the right puzzle pieces. Doing puzzles together builds on our cooperation skills, making us better friends. We were all able to find at least one puzzle that we could do all by ourselves!

Class 3 Making a flower garden

This week as we talk about our earth and what we can do to keep it beautiful we decided to make some lovely flowers out of recycled tissue paper to put in our garden. We think they look beautiful outside!
