Class 5 - Decorating with Stamps

Today Class 5 did some exciting Mother Day stamping! We started by painting, 'Mommy' in the centre of our papers and then got busy with vibrant colours. We then dipped our stamps into paint and
began decorating around our papers with love! Our stamping designs were hearts, flowers and smiley faces just for mom! We can't wait to share our love with you!

Class 4 - Mother's Day Cards

Class 4 had a great time making Mother's Day cards for their beloved mommies. They selected the colours, pasted flowers, hearts, butterflies, & wrote special messages for their moms. All of our friends are very excited about Mother's Day and are anxiously awaiting the time when they can give their mommies their gifts from their hearts

Class 5 - Science & Literacy

Today Class 5 combined literacy and science all in one! We learned about our Solar System through reading and writing! Not only are we learning about our Planets and Earth but we're also improving our fine motor skills through properly grasping onto our pencils and printing letters. We will be proudly displaying our work around the school and are looking forward to sharing them with you!

Class 2 - Mother's Day Surprise

With this week being the week before Mother's Day, the friends of Class 2 explored their literacy and creativeness for their moms!

They decorated a special surprise for moms by using paint and a made a special 3D craft. The kids had a great time expressing what they are doing and showing their love for their moms!

Class 4 - Independent Reading

Class 4 love to be social, and have fun with their friends, but it's also important for us to practise time to ourselves. Class 4 had quiet reading time in our Book Nook. All of the children were asked to pick a book off our shelf and then take time to interpret their take on the stories. This was an open ended learning experience, as they asked questions and made up their own stories looking at the pictures.

Class 5 - Salsa Surprise

Class 5 had a special guest that had an impromptu dance class this morning. Ms. Tary took Class 5 on a dancing adventure. We practised some new dance moves and then made our very own conga line! Class 5 loves when Ms. Tary comes to school with her dancing shoes on, so much fun! Great listening ears, friends!
