Class 4 - Team Building Skills

Along with the fun activities we engage in everyday, Class four also strives to enhance and excell the different skills they possess both as a team and individuals. Today, class four worked on our team building and cooperaation skills through working with a partner to construct a monument through our imagination. Upon finishing out structures as partners, each pair worked together with our classmates to construct a fairly larger structure which we called our "Turkey Castle". Not only did we take turns and share ideas with our partners we also had the opportunity to do so as a larger group!

Class 2 - Wheels on the Bus

Our friends in Class 2 painted school busses during our art class. We used the colour yellow for the bus and used the colour black for wheels and window. We even remember the "Wheels in the bus goes" song!

Class 2 - Shooting Stars

In order to solidify a promising year, Class 2 worked on some fine motor art: shooting stars! 

We peeled the backs off our star stickers and placed them where we saw fit.  We practised drawing some star trails and then used tiny gems to enhance our work.  Look how busy we look, starting the year off focused and ready.

Class 3 - Dance Class

Class 3 had an amazing back to school dance class today. We recalled the basic steps in ballet and hiphop. We also did a freestyle dance after our recalls. Ms Deanne always helps us enchance our gross motor skills while having fun! 

Elect 1.3 peer group entry skills, 1.5 interacting positively and respectfully, 1.6 cooperating

Class 2 - Music Mania

This morning, we had a special music circle, singing along with the songs we sing in the morning. We made sure we followed the rhythm and sang on time with our teacher.  We even sang a couple of our favourite French songs with our French teacher!

Class 5 - Monster Mash

Class 5 lack no imagination.  They must have missed LFLF over the PA days, because they had plenty of child directed learning experiences on Monday.  This is a spontaneous theatre activity, the kids had a ton of fun acting out.  As you can see, most of us decided to unleash our (friendly) inner monsters.  What a great socializing and dramatic play activity, friends.  Great way to start off the new school year :)
