Ms Lauren's Class Science Project!

This week we have been learning how water dissolves solids. We took a special magical tablet that Ms Lauren gave us and put it in some water. We watched patiently and saw it slowly dissolve from a solid form into a surprise Reindeer!

Class 4 - Christmas Tree

This week we got to decorate our Christmas tree! We practiced our social skills as we took turns picking an ornament and gently putting it on the tree.

Class 4 - Happy Hannukah!

We have been celebrating Hanukkah at LFLF! We talked about the importance of menorahs and even made some in Art class. We have also been reading books about Hanukkah and learning about the different foods, giving of gifts, playing dreidel and celebrating with family and friends!

Class 4 - Reindeer feet!

In Art class we got to make footprints! Ms Chrisa helped us paint the bottom of our feet, and then we stamped it on our paper. Some friends thought it would be too ticklish so we traced their foot and they were able to paint it. Once it dried, we added eyes, a nose, and drew antlers to make Rudolph!

Class 5 Decorating the tree!

Today when we came to School we noticed the fairies had set up our Christmas Tree! We all worked together to set up the tree and then we took turns to add our decorations and tinsel on there. It looks beautiful!

Visit from the Councillor of Toronto!

On Friday we got a very special visit from the City Councillor of Toronto, Kristyn Wong. We talked about the different responsibilities the City Councillor has for all of the people living in Toronto. We also talked about what we can do to make Toronto a better and cleaner place. Thank you Camille for bringing our special guest. Thank you Kristyn Wong for coming!
