My friends and I worked extra hard on this months 3D Art project, Lucky Gratitude Rocks. It was a four step process which started with selecting our three favorite rocks and painting them. We discovered that rocks from the store aren't quite as easy to paint SO, with St. Patrick's Day just passed, we decided to cover them with shiny Gold tissue paper like Lucky Charms. Our sticky hands got their fair share of gold tissue too! They were almost perfect, just one added touch of gold paint to seal the paper and then we moved on to the final step. We discussed the concept of gratitude and reflected upon what each of us are most grateful for. At that, we labeled each of our three lucky charm rocks with people, places and things that we are most grateful for. We are a very lucky bunch! I hope my lucky little friends cherish their lucky charm, gratitude rocks and the wonderful people, places and things they represent too!
