Class 2- My Spring Fairy

Today Class 2 painted their own magical spring fairies! As we all know, today is the first day of spring and we decided to welcome it with bright vibrant colours! We started by organizing the colours we wanted to paint with and set them in front of us as we put on our smocks. We then used our fine motors to grasp and stroke our paint brushes on paper. For fun we also used glitter to bring some sparkle to our fairies! This was a wonderful art experience as it was child directed and open ended. Furthermore, it allowed for us to get in touch with out imagination! We hope you enjoy our beautiful spring fairies on display around the school!
