For our sensory time, we took a walk in our kitchen area and tried to use our sense of smell to decipher the way the air in our school was smelling like. We smelled something nice and we were told that something special was cooking for us. We did not have too many guesses as we already knew what was on the menu for lunch - french fries. Yummy! We incorporated our sensory activity into our literacy as we wrote down what food we smelled and then ended our activity by drawing french fries. Time to make our tummies happy! Great smelling, Class 5!
