Class 1 - Building Independence with Free Choice

Earlier in the week in Class 1, our little LFLF friends were given the opportunity to choose how they wanted to spend their time during free play. Our friends made their own decision to choose what toy they wanted to play with when their teacher asked“What do you want to play” The most popular answers were a tie between two choices: “books” and “cars.”  It's great to see when our little ones choose books when they have free choice, as they are obviously developing an appreciation for print. Our little friends even counted their fingers while reading books. Great job, my little friends!
