Gobble gobble ... It's Thanksgiving this Monday! Class 5 had a wonderful circle time talking about Thanksgiving and all the things that we are thankful for. We learned how Thanksgiving is a holiday in October where families, friends and relatives get together to have a feast and give thanks for the blessings they have received. Some friends shared how they are thankful for their families, friends, food and toys. We also talked about how we plan to make a Thanksgiving tree for an art project that shows the many things we are thankful for. We ended our activity by writing down the multitude of things that we are thankful for. We also showed interpretations of our thankfulness through drawings! We are so proud of you and how you all realize how lucky you are for what you have. Great job, Class 5!
