Class 2- October Hanging Art

This week Class 2 worked on their October Hanging Art to represent our Fall season! We first started this fun project by painting our background to fit an October evening theme. We used cool water colors such as blue, black and purple while using soft foam brushes to apply the colours. Once our backgrounds were dried, we then started gluing on items that represent fall and the month of October such as Halloween and Thanksgiving. Some of the things we added to our background were: pumpkins, corn, skeletons, Frankenstein, stars and a tree with leaves that have changed colour. This art activity is great because we are learning about our Fall season and all the fun that comes along with it! We can't wait to share them with you on display around the school.
