School Bus Art

Today Class 5 designed their own unique school buses to welcome the new school year! We used our favourite colours to bring life to our school buses. We started by discussing what we may need to design our school buses and then setting the table with the supplies needed in preparation for the art activity. The supplies we used were spongy paint brushes for textured painting and our favourite paint colours in a tray. Then we all got a blank paper shaped as a school bus. Once we received our papers we then used our fine motor skills to print our names on the back of our school buses. That's when we began painting! Once our school buses were vibrant with colour, we then used glitter to create shapes to represent our window, wheels and even the bus lights. Even though we don't ride a school bus to LFLF, we know that there are lots of children attending other schools on school buses, some even for the first time. Overall, we had a blast creating our back to school buses!
