What a great way to start the new school year! We had so much fun interacting in our circle times, reading books together, creating artworks, and even engaging in our gross motor exercises! During our first day, we all sat in a circle, took turns introducing each other and shared something about how our summer went. Some of our friends shared that they went with their fathers travelling in Europe, some friends shared how they went to the zoo with their cousins and family and even bonded with some animals, and other friends shared how they stayed at LFLF for Summer camp and had such a blast. It is always nice to start the new year by sitting with friends, have a conversation and getting to know each other since we all know we would be together for a whole year! During our reading time, we sat on our pink chairs, grabbed our own book to read and then shared each of our interpretations of the stories in the books that we read. We had such a great time sharing! During art class, we made a blow paint artwork. Our teacher helped us splash some wonderful colours on our papers and gave us straws to help us make our cool creations. During our dance time, we made sure we had our usual warm up before we started on the heavy gross motor activities. After warm up, we did some exercises that helped us enhance our gross motor skills. Our teacher even prepared blocks at different levels for us to jump on and tag our next friend. Great start to the new year Class 5!
