Pre-K Finger Counting and Number Recognition

Today our Pre-K's engaged in a numeracy activity where we used our pointer finger to count the objects on the card and then used our recognition skills to name the numbers on the cards to see if they matched what we counted. We started by setting out our special number cards and then took turns sharing our answers. Not only are we learning about numbers, but also about respecting our peers when they are speaking as we sit and listen quietly and wait for our turn. Great work Pre-K's! You are all wonderful counters!
