Our First Field Trip of the 2016-2017 school year

Rain, rain, go away, come again another day! We guess singing the song really did make our field trip to Whittamore's farm a dream come true. It was up in the air all week whether the field trip to the pumpkin patch would be happening or cancelled due to the forecast of rain, but all our wishings & crossing our fingers made today a possibility and we enjoyed a day of learning all about pumpkins, exploring many pumpkin fields, feeding the animals, going on a wagon ride, being entertained by a chicken show, trying not to get lost in a corn maze, and of course enjoying ourselves in all the play areas available to release everyone's built-up energy from working so hard all week. It was such a blast for everyone to get together & socialize with familiar faces while also spending some time getting to know new faces too. We thank everyone that came out & made this trip a very special one but we definitely missed the few faces that weren't able to make it ... There's always next year! Here's a picture of the awesome LFLF family on the traditional haystack for a group photo and there's definitely more evidence of the wonderful time everyone had on this trip to come on Monday ....
