Today Class 1 had an amazing Creative Art time making volcanoes! The children had so much fun creating their volcano collages together. They first learned about volcanoes and how sometimes they explode with hot lava coming out of the tops. Then, to create their very own volcanoes, they learned to create the volcano first with brown triangular shaped cutouts and then glued them on their paper using popsicle sticks. Then the children learned the concept of layering and got creative putting red, purple & orange tissue paper to represent lava coming out of the volcano tops. Then, we practiced our tracing on the bottom of the paper to label their creations. The children were so excited to create their exploding volcanoes. Great job friends!
