During their art class, the students of Class 3 enjoyed a special painting lesson about the mixing of primary colours. First, we discussed how mixing colours can create OTHER colours, and this idea sparked a lot of excitement among the group. We gathered our materials, which included red and yellow paint, paper and sponges. We chose to use sponges because it's very easy to blend with them. Red and yellow were a natural choice this week, as we had also celebrated Chinese New Year! As students mixed their red and yellow paints, they gasped with excitement when they created orange! The final projects all looked unique. Fantastic job Class 3!
