Class 2 & 1 - Chinese New Year Celebrations

This week LFLF welcomed the Chinese New Year with their Chinese dragon masks! We started our dance class with a special parade as we marched our way around the school! This was especially exciting as we shared our unique dragon masks with each other! After our parade, we had a blast exploring the obstacle course. Our favourite part was crawling through the tunnel! We then gathered in a big circle and threw our parachute up in the air and down to the floor…! Last but not least, we all got extra groovy to freeze dance. However, this was not just any other freeze dance, it was “Chinese New Year freeze dance!” The dance activity allowed for us to freeze as important characters for Chinese New Year! Some of the things we froze as were Chinese dragons and monkeys. And of course, we posed with our dragon masks! To close our extra special celebration, we all took a big bow and cheered, “Happy Chinese New Year!”
