Class 5 - Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?

This January winter has arrived and the little ones here at LFLF absolutely love the sight of it! This week Class 5 took on a 3D project for the winter season. We each made our very own snowmen!

However, these aren't just any ordinary snowmen, these ones are a
extra special with the touch of Class 5's sparkling hands! We started the project by organizing the supplies needed. Once we had everything ready we then geared our focus to our snowman's body.
Everyone got a cup to represent the body and then discussed what our snowmen would wear. We all agreed that our snowmen would need scarves
to keep them extra cozy. That's when everyone got to pick there favourite colour. Once all of our friends had construction paper we then used scissors to cut out our scarves. Now for the fun part... Class 5 picked their favourite colour of googly eyes.. with
the teachers help, we secured them onto our snowman's head. Class 5
added the final touches to our winter characters with dazzling jewels,
pompous, and glitter! Not only was this art project fun but it also allowed for Class 5 to truly get in touch with there fine-motor skills. Our little friends were so proud of there 3D structures that
they wanted to carry them around the school! We hope you love them as
much as we do!
