One of the best parts about winter is being able to play in the snow and build a snowman! But what happens to the snowman when the snow starts to melt? Uh oh! This week Class 3 explored just that in their art class - melting snowmen! The project was incredibly fun as it involved finger painting, and it resulted in some very silly looking creations! We began by finger painting paper using white paint. After it dried, we glued on googley eyes, a scarf, a hat, mittens, buttons, and a carrot nose. Class 3 used their fine motor muscles to peel stickers for the buttons, and glueing the various pieces to their papers. They had a blast creating their melted snowmen and couldn't wait to share them with each other when they were done!
