Over the past week Class 5 has been developing there patterning skills through designing mosaics. We have now worked on 3 mosaics. On two of the mosaics each child chose 2-3 crayon colours to work with and filled in the squares to create various patterns. Class five also
patterned using coloured squares and glued them onto a canvas. To make
patterning even more fun, everyone was encouraged to choose there
favourite colours while creating there mosaics! Overall, this was a
great learning experience for us as we were able to count and sort
colours to design our own mosaics. The best part of our mosaics is
that everyone's looks unique in there own special way!
