Class 3 - Preparation for Remembrance Day

In preparation for Remembrance Day Class 3 did some literacy, and artwork relating to the time we remember. 

First, we made a poppies out of egg cartons. We cut it and piece by piece and painted it red. Next, we glued pipe cleaners to be the stem. Then, we got paintbrushes and painted the background (fields). Finally, we wrote "lest we forget" because this is a day of remembrance and we don't want to forget the sacrifices that were made
