Rainy days make for long days inside, so it's up to us as a team to make the best of it. This afternoon, Ms. Camille visited our class and drew a rainbow on our chalk board. She asked us a few questions regarding these colourful masterpieces in the sky, like;
What's the first colour usually to appear in a rainbow?
What are primary colours, and what are secondary colours.
She then laid out all the colours of paint on our classroom table and had us organize them in what order they appear in.
We had quite a bit of fun learning about our colours, but why should we stop there?
Why just have visual arts when we can practise our literacy skills too.
... You guessed it. We all helped Ms. Camille sound out the word, 'rainbow', and then practised writing it ourselves.
Way to go Class 5, no borig rainy days here! :)
