Class 1 - Homes for Birds

Painting our bird houses

Class 1 have been talking about circus tents lately and we got a very special surprise. We were given these bird houses as pretend circus tents. We can't help but be excited about painting them with colours we like. First, we painted them with pastel colours. We added more definition to our art by putting designs using acrylics and finally putting jewelled stickers for the final touch.

Our artwork has helped us explore more about the circus and enhance our fine motor skills as we carefully hold our paintbrushes and put on stickers.
